Over 35,000 people saw the St. John's University Johnnies and the St. Thomas University Tommies at Target Field Saturday afternoon.

The public is invited to groundbreaking ceremonies this week on the campuses of St. John's University and the College of St. Benedict.

It was a special day for two St. Cloud Apollo student athletes as they signed their letters of intent to play for two local colleges.

After a string of college campus shootings shook the country earlier this month, local colleges are emphasizing being prepared for "active shooter" situations. Central Minnesota campuses are stressing emergency preparedness and mental health services following the shooting deaths of nine students at a community college in southern Oregon.
