The 12th ranked St. John's basketball team posted a 78-54 win at St. Olaf in Northfield Wednesday night after St. Ben's knocked off St. Olaf 63-52 in Northfield against St. Olaf earlier in the evening.

The St. John's and St. Ben's basketball teams both won at Augsburg in Minneapolis Wednesday night. St. John's led by 18 at halftime and held off Augsburg in the 2nd half to win 78-69. St. Ben's used a 2nd half surge to knock off Augsburg 63-44.

The 14th ranked St. John's basketball team defeated Concordia in Moorhead 75-60 Wednesday night. The Johnnies led by 18 at halftime. St. John's was led in scoring by Kooper Vaughn with 23 points, Ryan Thissen added 13 points and Luke Healy chipped in 12 points.

The St. Ben's basketball team is playing two games in San Juan, Puerto Rico this week. The Bennies defeated Caltech 54-41 this morning in their first of 2 games there. Sophia Jonas and Olivia Boily each had 11 points to lead St. Ben's.

The St. Ben's cross country team will participate in the NCAA Division III North Regional in Northfield Saturday November 16. St. Ben's Cross Country Coach Robin Balder-Lanoue joined me on WJON. She says all teams qualify for the regional event but only the top 7 runners from each team will participate.

The St. John's Basketball was upset 83-80 by Hamline in the MIAC tournament semifinals Thursday night in Collegeville. The game was tight throughout and Hamline earned their 2nd win over the Johnnies this season.

The St. John's basketball team dominated St. Scholastica 68-37 Wednesday night to improve to 11-6 overall and 8-4 in the MIAC. The Johnnies led 27-15 at halftime and outscored the Saints 41-22 in the 2nd half.
