At the Minnesota Public Utilities Commission meeting Thursday, the commission unanimously approved Xcel Energy’s proposed sale of 348 acres of land near the Sherco Power Plant to Elk River Technologies.
Xcel Energy will reveal details on the MN Energy Connection transmission line project from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Becker Community Center Gymnasium.
The Minnesota Utilities Commission has received notice that Xcel Energy has terminated its agreement with Honeycrisp, LLC to build a 375,000-square-foot building next to the Sherco Power Plant.
