Accumulating snow is expected this weekend with a medium chance for 2 or more inches of snow across southern Minnesota and part of west-central Wisconsin.
The National Weather Service says the towns with the most snow from Saturday are St. James with five inches, Mankato at 4 1/2 inches and Minneota at 4.2 inches.
The National Weather Service has expanded the Winter Weather Advisory for Saturday to now include Stearns and Benton Counties. It will be in effect from noon on Saturday until 3:00 a.m. Sunday.
The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Weather Advisory for the St. Cloud metro area. A Blizzard Warning has been issued for an area to our west and south. A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect south of the Twin Cities Metro Area.
