At least six people have lost their lives in crashes on the state’s roads since Friday afternoon. Four of the traffic deaths occurred in a span of less than 24 hours.

The State Patrol responded to the fatality shortly before 7:30 p.m.

The State Patrol says the young crash victim was not restrained by a seatbelt or safety seat when the deadly incident occurred on Saturday.

The State Patrol says a pickup truck was also involved in the fatal collision. First responders were dispatched to the scene shortly before 4:50 Thursday morning.
