The boys of summer are back with a new single and video! We love us some ONE DIRECTION here in Central Minnesota and couldn't get enough of their debut single "What Makes You Beautiful" here on Mix 94.9. Boy bands are back with a vengeance, for example we just got word 98 Degrees will reunite for a one time show in Hershey, PA later this summer and the super group NKOTBSB just wrapped their world tour earlier this month.

We are counting down to the Mix Summer Spectacular on Saturday August 18th and can't wait to rock Royalton at the Halfway Jam Grounds. One of the bands taking the stage that afternoon is new boy band sensation Midnight Red. They just released their debut single "Hell Yeah" today on iTunes and other digital outlets along with their first ever music video.

We were the first radio station in the country to play the debut single from L.A. based boy band Midnight Red. Now "Hell Yeah" will be available to the masses tomorrow (6/19) on iTunes and other digital outlets.

This will be the best end of summer party to ever hit Central Minnesota! We've got some of music's biggest names and best up and comers! Find out more after the jump.

We are super excited about our first annual MIX Summer Spectacular coming to the Halfway Jam Grounds in Royalton on Saturday August 18th.  One of the first bands we approached to be apart of this star studded affair was Midnight Red.  These guys currently hail from Los Angeles, California and are ready to set the globe on fire...
