Pro Days are of great importance for NFL hopefuls looking to make the most of their opportunity in the NFL or any level of professional football.

The transfer portal in college basketball causes lots of roster changes each year. The Gopher basketball team recently filled one of their openings with 6'6 guard/forward Femi Odukale from New Mexico State.

St. Cloud Tech graduate and Sauk Rapids native, Brevyn Spann-Ford has been invited to participate in the NFL scouting combine. The 6'7 268 pound tight end played college football for P.J. Fleck at the University of Minnesota.

Sauk Rapids native and St. Cloud Tech graduate Brevyn Spann-Ford has received another National College Football honor prior to the season. The University of Minnesota tight end has been named to the 2023 Lombardi Watch List which highlights the top Division I college football players each year.

Two St. Cloud Rox players and 2 Gopher baseball players have been taken in the MLB draft. The former Rox players include infielder Brice Mathews who was taken by the Houston Astros with the 28th overall pick.

St. Cloud Tech High School graduate Brevyn Spann-Ford has received a preseason honor. Spann-Ford has been named to the 2023 Walter Camp preseason 2nd team.

St. Cloud State lost to Minnesota 4-1 in Saturday night in the NCAA Fargo Regional Final. The Gophers led 1-0 on a goal from Bryce Brodzinski in the 1st period.
