Embarrassing

I will never get over this embarrassment. It is the dumbest thing in the world, and I have so reason to feel embarrassed about it, but I do.

And don't even get me started on feeling judged by how fast my windshield wipers are going.

To be clear, this is the first time I'd ever been in a situation where cocaine was (supposedly) present. Even days later I'm not sure what the best response would have been, but I said the first thing that came to mind: "Do what you gotta do, man."

Here are a few borderline embarrassing things that I remember from my teen years.

"People mess up all the time in their jobs. And no one really cares. Unfortunately, your job is in front of 18,000 people and they care."
