Democratic U.S. Sen. Tina Smith of Minnesota has won reelection, defeating Republican former U.S. Rep. Jason Lewis. Smith was in the rare position of having to defend her seat for the second time in two years.
The top three people who have won seats on the ROCORI school board are Chuck Hentges with 27 percent, Lynn Schurman with 23 percent, and Sunny Hesse with 21 percent of the vote.
In the city of St. Augusta, the two candidates who have won seats to the city council are Mary Coleman with 30 percent of the vote and Jeffrey Schmitz also with 30 percent of the vote.
