Mix 94.9 artist Chris Daughtry and his band just made the announcement that they will be opening for Nickleback at the Minnesota State Fair!

Daughtry is set to headline the first Mix Summer Spectacular on Saturday August 18th at the concert grounds on Highway 10 in Royalton (Halfway Jam Grounds).

I had the chance to meet up with the guys from Daughtry while they were in Minneapolis last weekend.  I was invited by my friends at RCA Records and attended the exclusive VIP experience which included the bands sound check.  I was impressed with how easy music came to these guys and how excited the fans were to be in their presence...
