St. Cloud Cathedral is hosting the St. Cloud Crush tonight but this will be more than just any other game. It will be Cancer Awareness and youth basketball night. The two teams will be honoring former youth basketball coach and Cathedral parent, Jeff Voit.
The boys and girls section 6-2-A meet at Blackberry Ridge took place with first round action Monday. Pequot Lakes leads on both the boys and girls sides entering today's final round.
Top seeded Eden Valley-Watkins defeated Cathedral 3-0 in the winners bracket in the Section 6-2-A playoffs Monday at Dick Putz Field. Foley will play Albany in an elimination game at 4:30 p.m. at Putz Field today with the winner playing Cathedral at 7:00 p.m. tonight.
Cathedral High School has announced the hiring of Abby Schneider as their new head girls soccer coach. Schneider is a 1999 Cathedral graduate who's had several years of coaching experience in various sports having been a head girls' swim and dive coach at the high school level for seven years, four at Cathedral.
The Cathedral boys soccer team lost 6-0 to St. Paul Academy and Summit School Thursday night at Eden Prairie High School in the Class A State Tournament Quarterfinals. The Crusaders' season ends with a record of 17-2.
We picnicked at the Eiffel Tower, we had breakfast at outdoor cafes, and we shopped in cute Parisian boutiques. One of our favorite memories, though, was visiting the Notre-Dame de Paris. The history was tangible, the artwork breathtaking and the views stunning.
7th graders and other new students were greeted like celebrities for their first day of school at Cathedral High. Students, teachers and staff were out on Third Street, cheering and welcoming 7th graders and their families.
