Camp Ripley

Camp Ripley posted recently about what Minnesota drivers should know when they approach a military convoy on the interstate/highway.

The Minnesota DNR says archery hunters had a strong harvest at a deer hunting event at Camp Ripley last month.

Storms knocked down roofs, trees and damaged vehicles throughout the garrison areas of the National Guard's Camp Ripley Training Center. A damage survey was conducted. It was concluded to be a weak tornado of EF-1 rating.

The second stop on my "Day-Cation" tour was at Camp Ripley to tour the Minnesota Military Museum. Camp Ripley is a state-owned 53,000 acre military training center located on the Mississippi River just seven miles north of Little Falls.
