I remember when I first learned that Kelly Clarkson would be hosting the 2018 Billboard Music Awards; "Ugh," I thought, "they couldn't have found someone better?" (Clearly, I wasn't much of a fan). After last night's award ceremony, however, I'm absolutely convinced that she was the right person to host.
