Apollo High School

The St. Cloud area school board heard feedback on why a recent referendum failed, summarized from recent community listening sessions. The $167 million November referendum, which included money for a new Tech and updates to Apollo High School, failed with 53% voting against and 47% voting yes.

Eagle CmPs is a part of the Minnesota Future Problem Solving Program, and the kids wanted to focus on the problem of texting while driving.

This week for our All Star Student series we hit the Apollo High School tennis courts to meet with junior Sam Gerdes. Sam is no stranger to after school activities. She's involved in anything from athletics to helping freshman students at Apollo through Link Crew.

The smell of popcorn and mini-doughnuts filled the air as Apollo High School beat Breck High School with a score of 1-0 in overtime in the quarterfinals of the State Boy's Hockey Tournament at Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul last night.

Coach Pete Matanich and his Apollo hockey team took off for state today through a crowd of fans who are waiting for the tournament to begin. They will take on Break in the first round at the XCEL Energy Center.

Apollo Care, a play school for preschoolers, is taking place each Wednesday for the remainder of January.

Enjoy some holiday cheer from the Apollo High School Concert Choir. The choir is a 50 voice auditioned mixed choir and is the most advanced large ensemble in the choral program.
