Support Local Businesses: Cloud 9 Energy Bowls
It's more important now more than ever to support local businesses like bars and restaurants during the shut down.
Every weekday morning at 8 a.m. we'll be visiting with a local restaurant operator to find out how they are doing during the pandemic. We'll check-in and find out what specials they're running, how you can order for delivery, take-out our curbside pickup.
Today, we're joined on the show by Nick Evans with Cloud 9 Energy Bowls in Waite Park. They're a relatively new businesses that opened up at the beginning of 2020.
They feature healthy energy bowls with a sorbet base, topped with granola, fresh fruit and more. They've also got smoothies, toast, oatmeal and coffee.
Nick says the Gamma bowl is a crowd favorite that he recommends to all first time customers.
Cloud 9 will have special promotions, deals and discounts going on throughout December. Nick says you can find out more information on their Facebook page. If you're looking for a stocking stuffer, the restaurant also features gift cards.
Evans says he encourages everyone to shop local, not only at his businesses but others in the community as well.
Cloud 9 Energy Bowls is open weekdays from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and weekends from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. In December they'll be closing an hour early on weeknights.
They're located right next to Tip Top Tux across from Target.
