It's been a roller coaster of closings and cancellations this year due to COVID-19, so it's nice to see things heading in a different direction.

Summerland officially opened up on Wednesday, June 10. If you're planning on hitting up the park, there are some changes this summer you should know.

On their Facebook page they wrote, "The health and safety of our customers and employees is our greatest priority, so our bumper boats and water slide will be closed, pending guidelines from the Minnesota Department of health."

Erika Patenaude asked, "will there still be wristband days this summer? If so, what are those days?"

Elle Christoferson responded, "our wristband days are to be determined this summer. If there are, we will announce them on Facebook as we know them!"

So, what's open? Glad you asked! Everything else.

Summerland features go-karts, batting cages, mini-golf, and Kid Kountry.

Kids ages 3 to 5 can enjoy the go-kart track with a power wheel on the concrete track. Kids ages 6 to 8 can drive their own junior go-kart.

Summerland also has a concession stand and arcade area indoors. The concession stand serves up ball park style hot dogs, pizza, nachos and cheese, hot pretzels, candy, chips, slushy, ice cream sundaes, cones, root beer floats, and other cold beverages.

They're open from noon to 8 p.m. weather permitting.
