Suicidal Woman Saved From Hwy 10 Bridge

LITTLE FALLS -- Traffic was stopped on Highway 10 near Little Falls yesterday (Monday) afternoon when a woman threatened to jump from a bridge.

Morrison County Sheriff Shawn Larsen says the incident happened just after 3:30 p.m. on the Soo-Line overpass.

Larsen says the woman was on the railing looking down and was believed to be contemplating suicide.

After a short negotiation, the woman was removed safely from the bridge.

No one was hurt and no charges were filed.
