It's Day 4 of Kelly's Imaginary Advent Calendar, and today it's all about Minnesota Fashion. In honor of it being National Blue Jeans Day, I thought, what better gift behind Door number 4 than one of my friend Cindy's hand-designed jean jackets like the one pictured below, as well as vests, purses and lots more! BEAUTY IS...

Isn't it beautiful? Some people can see something special in things that we might just toss aside, and Cindy is one of those people. Cindy takes denim jackets and gives them a fresh new look. She has a great side business called 'Upcycled Denim Designs by Cindy,' and has an amazing eye for creating bright, cheerful, and stylish jackets from our jean jackets of yesterday.

LOTS OF INVENTORY FOR THE HOLIDAYS

Cindy let me know that she has lots of inventory right now, and if you are interested in her merchandise, many of her creations are available right now at  Highland Quilting in Sauk Centre, and Dragon Willow Winery, located on Highway 71, South of Long Prairie.

Today was National Blue Jeans Day, and it was fitting that when I opened Door 4 on my imaginary Advent Calendar, that I found this adorable Jean Skirt Purse inside! Isn't it cute? I love butterflies, so this was a fun find. The gorgeous light pink and green belt with the bowtie makes it extra cute. A great purse to have for fun outings.

A VARIETY OF FUN ITEMS TO CHOOSE FROM

Cindy makes anything she can think of out of denim. Whether it be jackets and vest, or backpacks and earrings. If it's denim, she can create something from it. She does custom work for people as well.
