One thing I feel like most of us can agree on is how much we missed having county and state fairs in 2020...thanks, COVID.

According to WJON, Benton County Fair recently announced they're planning to have an in-person fair this year in August, just a little different than we're used to. I can smell the fair food now.

Well, on the heels of that announcement, the Stearns County Fair may have hinted at their 2021 plans too. So, get excited because things are looking good.

In a Facebook post from one week ago they wrote, "Since January is hobby month, are you working on something for the Stearns County Fair this year?"

Yes, it said "THIS YEAR" in the post. So, it looks like they're planning to have some sort of fair again, likely a scaled back version like Benton County is doing with their fair.

On their website they list this year's dates as July 28 through August 1 with a message that reads, "with your help we will make the 2021 fair, the best one ever."

The Stearns County Fair typically happens at the beginning of July in Sauk Centre, Minnesota.

This is exactly what I needed to hear heading into a Tuesday in the dead of winter...little rays of sunshine.

And, to answer the Stearns County Fair's question as to what hobby I'm working on,  I'm not sure, but since I'm so overcome with joy that we're having a fair I might need to do some soul searching and find a hobby.

Since January is hobby month, are you working on something for the Stearns County Fair this year?
