The calendar officially turned over to spring this past weekend and it feels oh, so nice! This is about the time of year I start making a bucket list of all of the things I want to do once all the snow is gone and I don't have to wear my parka everywhere.

Right at the top of my list this year is getting my three-year-old son to a drive-in theater. He's never been to one and I think this might be the year he's finally old enough to stay up and enjoy a movie in the great Minnesota outdoors.

You're not going to have to wait very long before you can enjoy a movie outside . St. Michael Cinema 15 announced on their official Facebook page on Tuesday, March 23rd that they plan to open up the drive-in for the season on Wednesday, March 31.

That's ONE week from today. Say WHAAAAAAT?! If that seems early, it's because it is...but, hey, there's like no snow on the ground anymore. So, bring on outdoor theater season. I'm here for it and ready to go.

They'll be showing Godzilla Vs. Kong on opening night at 8:15 p.m. Tickets are available on their website.

Admission is $8 for adults and $6 for kids ages 2 through 11. Seniors get a $2  discount.
