
Huskies Chase 10th Super Region Title This Weekend
MARSHALL (WJON News) -- The St. Cloud State University wrestling team gets back to the mat this weekend. The Huskies will be looking for their 10th straight Super Region V championship in Marshall.

The team is ranked 9th in Division II wrestling in the country with a 17-2 overall record. They went 10-0 in the NSIC to win the conference title for the 14th time in the past 15 years.
The six individual wrestlers who are ranked for the Huskies are:
133 pounds #13 Dominic Ducato at 11-1,
157 pounds #2 Joel Jesuroga at 17-0,
174 pounds #11 Bryce Dagel at 10-4,
184 pounds #2 Cole Glazier at 16-0,
197 pounds #15 Tyson Meyer at 13-4,
285 pounds #3 Zach Glazier at 4-0.
The top three placers at each individual weight class will qualify for the NCAA Tournament. The Huskies have sent six or more wrestlers to the NCAA Tournament for 18 consecutive seasons.
Saturday's wrestling action begins at 10:00 a.m.
