St. Cloud Man Arrested For Allegely Attacking His New Wife

The honeymoon was very short-lived for a newly wed St. Cloud couple. St. Cloud police responded to a domestic assault call on Monday just before 2:00 a.m. in the 900 block of 9th Avenue Southeast. Sterling Danford of Alaska, was arrested for allegedly assaulting his 30-year-old wife, whom he married the night before.

Danford also punched his mother-in-law as she tried to break up the newly weds. The victim was taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries. He's facing domestic assault charges, 5th degree assault, and 3rd degree assault.
