If you are at all familiar with the Food Network, you know about Chopped. It is a cooking competition where amazing chefs go head to head in three different rounds to make a meal that includes mandatory basket ingredients that are usually off the wall or don't fit together. After each round one is "chopped" until just one chef is standing. Little Falls' Sprout Kitchen is hosting their own Chopped style competition called MINCED: The finer version of Chopped. It is taking place at Sprout Growers & Makers Marketplace (609 13th Avenue Northeast Door 8, Little Falls, Minnesota 56345) on May 15th. Here are the three chefs competing:

Chef Fred Stumbo, chef for Sage on Laurel in Brainerd

Chef Paul Ruszat, chef for Morrison Healthcare St. Cloud

Chef Scotty Stocco, chef for Iron Range Eatery in Crosby
