Now that our kitchen is unpacked, I'm finally back to serving up some of my favorite dishes.  One of them is Gina's Shrimp Scampi Pasta from the Food Network.

I ran across this about a year ago and it's been a staple in our house ever since.  The one thing I love about it in comparison to other shrimp scampi pastas is the spice.  This recipe calls for red pepper flakes and boy do they add a nice kick!

If you're serving this dish to the family and you have people who are sensitive to spicy foods, you can always scale back, or eliminate the red pepper entirely and it still makes a tasty meal.

Plus, best part is, this recipe is quick and easy to prepare.

Serve it along side your favorite glass of white wine and get ready to add this tab to your favorites bar!

For wine, you can use anything, but I usually cook with Barefoot Chardonnay.  It's cheap and does the trick.  No need to splurge on an expensive bottle, promise.

Cheers to a great meal!
