Should It Be Harder For Parents To Say ‘No’ To Vaccines? [VOTE]

The Associated Press recently reporter that one lawmaker hopes to make it harder for parents to refuse vaccines for their kids in the wake of the measles outbreak.

According to the AP, Democratic-Farmer-Labor Rep. Mike Freiberg thinks that parents should have to speak with a doctor about a vaccines health and safety information before refusing it for their child.

The Minnesota Natural Health Legal Reform Project has other thoughts on the matter. According to the AP, the group's president has said that if the state were to require vaccines, "it would restrict the parent's legal rights."
