The Oscars are this Sunday and Seth MacFarlane is not only hosting but he is also nominated in the best song category.

Seth's song is "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" which he wrote for his movie Ted. And as hopeful as he is, he thinks he has little chance at winning.

"We will lose to Adele. Don't get me wrong. As cynical a guy as I sometimes appear to be, nothing would delight me more than to walk away with that award. But I don't think there's a chance in hell that we will win. But if we did, I would be as overjoyed as I can get."

Adele did win a Grammy for "Skyfall" and she might as well start writing her speech for The Oscars. The nominees for Best Original Song are: "Before My Time" from "Chasing Ice," J. Ralph; "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" from "Ted," Walter Murphy and Seth MacFarlane; "Pi's Lullaby" from "Life of Pi," Mychael Danna and Bombay Jayashri; "Skyfall" from "Skyfall," Adele Adkins and Paul Epworth; "Suddenly" from "Les Miserables," Claude-Michel Schonberg, Herbert Kretzmer and Alain Boublil.

He's up against some great songs, but at least he knows when to call it a loss. But, you never know! We will find out Sunday night! Norah Jones, by the way, will be performing "Everybody Needs a Best Friend" at Sunday's ceremony.
