SCSU Holds Dance and Cheer Clinic for the Kids Over the Weekend

I've lived here for almost three years and never made it to Husky stadium. I love college football but for some reason never took advantage of the beautiful stadium that sits just off the banks of the Mississippi. Well this weekend I made it out.  My daughter participated in a dance / cheer clinic sponsored by St. Cloud State University on Saturday, September 27th.  The dance team and cheerleaders treated the kids to a fun afternoon learning new cheers and dances.

The kids got to join them on the field for the game that evening.  They even performed a choreographed routing during halftime. Unfortunately SCSU fell to Upper Iowa 37-31.

A big thank you to both the SCSU dance team and cheerleaders.  They made the kids feel like they were part of the team and its an experience they won't soon forget.
