Saturday We Started a New Family Tradition – Cutting Down Our Christmas Tree [PICS] [VIDEO]

With beautiful trees as far as you could see, I took the family to Jan's Christmas Trees and Gift Store this past Saturday to start our new family tradition of cutting down our Christmas Tree. 

Shay was along for the ride, being pulled in a one daddy (or mommy) wagon grabbing at every branch she passed.

Mom and Shay played hide and seek behind all the trees...

We found our tree after, maybe an hour and a half (there are a ton of trees at Jan’s) and then...

I cut it down.

After we had our tree, we made our way to see Santa by the gift shop.

Shay wasn't really sure what to think...

Then we explored and made a few purchases inside the gift shop...

They have a ton of cool stuff in there.

Jan's also has horse drawn wagon rides, we missed out on that... it was time to go feed a one-year-old. She makes the rules, I just live by them.

After we ate, we put up our Christmas tree.

It looked bigger outside... but Shay loves it. And she has a hard time not taking the ornaments off.

We've already had a few bulb shatter at her expense. Don't worry, we're taking it out of her college fund to replace them.
