School is definitely back in session and you're probably wondering if your child is getting the best education available in the state. A website called Niche ranked each school district based on their analysis of key statistics from the U.S. Department of Education.

Based on their findings, Sartell-St. Stephen School District placed #10 on their list of top ten schools.

#1: Minnetonka Public School District (12 schools, 10, 586 students)
#2: Wayzata Public School District (17 schools, 11, 370 students)
#3: Eden Prairie School District (10 schools, 9,008 students)
#4: Edina Public School District (12 schools, 8,627 students)
#5: Orono Public School District (5 schools; 2,836 students)
#6: St. Michael-Albertville School District (8 schools; 6336 students)
#7: Mahtomedi Public School District (6 schools; 3,278 students)
#8: Prior Lake-Savage Area Schools (13 schools; 8,461 students)
#9: Mounds View Public School District (29 schools; 11,540 students)
#10: Sartell-St. Stephen Public School District (5 schools; 3,945 students) 

Sartell received an overall A grade . The school had high marks for academics, teachers, clubs and activities, sports, college prep and health and safety.

The school was given a B+ grade for its food, B- for the resources and Facilities category and a C- for their diversity which affected the district's overall score. According to Niche, Sartell-St. Stephen has a classroom ratio of 16 to 1.
