It's been about a year since someone climbed onto the roof of the Minnetonka General Store and created a giant...er...schlong in the snow for everyone to see.

My parents were recently in town visiting from Illinois. One of my mom's favorite local places to visit is the Minnetonka General Store -- an overwhelming wonderland of Minnesota gifts, goods, odds, ends and knick knacks. As we were pulling into the parking lot, I couldn't help but remember the naughty little stunt that took place about this time last year.

After one particularly generous snowfall, someone climbed onto the roof of the general store and carefully trudged the shape of a phallus into the snow. The resulting image was clearly visible to passerby from the road, as evidenced by the photo posted to the Minnesota thread of Reddit by someone who worked across the street.

While the responsible party is yet to come forward (pun intended), many online have shared their appreciation for the larger-than-life pecker.

"I work at the Youngstedts across the highway from the Minnetonka General Store, and I would just like to thank whoever did that for making my morning," said one in the comment section of this Reddit thread.

"The genital [general] store," joked another.

"Minnesota Minnetonka Minnepipi," procured third.

"That roof is actually pretty steep," praised one. "Impressive."

"Oh brother," said another. "This made me chuckle but man, oh, man. C'mon now."

The General Store of Minnetonka has been family-owned and -run since 1984 selling a variety of unique gifts, home décor, clothing, kitchen gadgets, food products, Minnesota souvenirs and more. The store is located at 14401 MN-7 in Minnetonka.
