Random Roadtrip: Can You Name This Destination (9/30/20) [Listen]
Think you can name a road trip destination without looking at a map?
Every Wednesday during the Drive Home with Adam, tune in to play Random Road Trip. The premise is simple -- Adam's planned out a road trip, but he's not telling you where you're going. Instead, he'll give you a series of directions starting from St. Cloud, which you have to follow along with in order to name the final destination. You're welcome to follow along on a map if you need to, but if you can do it in your head -- more power to you!
Here are this week's directions, as given out on-air:
You and your significant other are getting away for a quiet weekend together. You get on I-94 headed East. Follow it down to Maple Grove and get on 494. As you reach Bloomington, get on I-35W headed south. Take it down out of the Cities. Pass Lakeville and the Northfield exit. But when you near Dundas, get off I-35 for a quick stop at the super cute Chapel Brewing there, where you enjoy a romantic drink and snap some photos of the cute church-turned-brewery. Make your way back out to I-35 and keep heading south, down past Faribault, past Owatonna and Albert Lea. About 25 minutes after you cross the border into Iowa, get off at Clear Lake and head East on US-18. Take that just about 15 minutes until you reach a quaint little town which you discover is the hometown of Meredith Wilson and the inspiration for his well-known Broadway hit the Music Man. Where are you?
