Plated Dinners Or Buffet Style…My Wedding Dilemma [POLL]

I'm in the process of planning my November wedding, and I'm making some good progress. However, I'm stuck between planning a plated dinner or making it a buffet.

I can see the benefits of having each. If I do a plated dinner, the chef will know exactly how much food to make and it looks a little more formal. If I do a buffet style dinner then people can take what they want and have seconds if they're still hungry. But, a buffet is a little dangerous too because what if you run out of food? I've heard horror stories.

So, I'm seeking advice from our 98-1 listeners. Do you prefer a plated wedding dinner or a buffet style? Help a girl out!
