Following confirmation that Maroon 5 and rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi will perform the Super Bowl Half Time Show in February, an online petition is demanding that they take a knee.

You may recall the Change.org online petition back in November demanding Maroon 5 step down from the offer to perform the Super Bowl Half Time Show and protesting against anyone who joined them.

Despite the nearly 85,000 names to sign the petition, the NFL confirmed this past weekend that Maroon 5 will be performing the Half Time Show and that rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi (of Outkast) will be joining them.

The same petition has now updated its goal: that the three performing bands/artists "redeem their reputation" by all taking a knee during their set.

"Show the hundreds of millions of people watching that you stand in solidarity with Kaepernick and all players who protest police brutality," the Change.org petition reads. "Use this opportunity to force the NFL to change their policy."

Personally, I'm predicting that someone -- if not all of them -- does take a knee. With that many people on stage at the same time -- appealing to different audiences and demographics -- it's bound to happen. I guess time will tell.
