Meet Oreo.

Oreo is a 1 year old female Syrian hamster.

She’s at the shelter because her owner didn’t not have the time to give her the care and attention they thought she deserved.

Oreo is well socialized and likes being held and carried around.

She enjoys spending supervised time outside of her cage and likes getting her belly gently rubbed.

Oreo enjoys the occasional hamster treats like yogurt drops and fresh vegetables.

She is more active in the evening and gets her exercise running on her wheel.

Oreo would make a terrific first pet.

Meet Bell.

Bell is a spayed 8 year old cat who was brought to the shelter because her owner didn’t have enough time to care for her.

Bell has a mellow and independent personality and spent most of her time lounging around the house.

She can be quite affectionate but it needs to be her idea.

Bell has been around other cats but didn’t really care for sharing her home with them and would likely do best as an only pet.

She’s used to having a cardboard scratching post.

Her purr box is in good working order.

She loves to sleep in her own little bed.
