Pet Patrol: Barney and Jax Hope for New Homes in New Year
Barney the kitten and Jax the lab and boxer mix are ready for new homes. And they’re ready for adoption at the Tri-County Humane Society.
Barney is an 8-week-old neutered kitten who is very sweet, fun-loving, and would love to find a home for the New Year!
He was born in foster care and now that he is old enough to be without his mom he is at the shelter patiently waiting to meet the right person to adopt him.
Barney is very playful and can make just about anything into a toy. He purrs almost non-stop and has no problem curling up with you for a nice nap after playing tires him out.
Barney has lived indoors and would like to find a home that will keep him inside with the rest of the family.
Jax is an 11-month-old Lab and Boxer mix.
He’s looking for an indoor home and is already neutered and house-trained.
In his previous home, he lived with children of all ages, two dogs and two cats. He got along grr-eat with all of them!
Jax is very active and would make a great running or walking partner.
One unique thing about Jax is that when he is happy, he ‘smiles’ at you!
Stop by the shelter to meet him and see if you can get him to smile for you! Some of his favorite past times are car rides and going for walks.
