People Who Read Books Live Longer
A new study found people who read books live longer than people who don't. The study lasted 12 years, and people who read at least a half hour a day were 23% less likely to die than people who didn't read. And they lived about two years longer overall. The researchers didn't exactly give a reason why reading makes you live longer, they just said it gives you a, quote, "significant survival advantage." This is good news for me! I've always been a big reader, and past down that love to my daughter. Thanks mom.
