It's crazy to think that the Minnesota State Fair, otherwise known as the Great Minnesota Get-Together is really just around the corner.  By around the corner I mean that it is just 6 weeks out!

MINNESOTA STATE FAIR "HAVE TOs"

There are some things that people do when they go to the fair every single year.  They have their specific "go-tos".  Some people always have to get Sweet Marthas Cookies, some always have to check out all of the animal barns, get all the milk you can drink, corn dogs, cheese curds from the Food Building, head to the Dairy Building for a frozen treat, or check out the Haunted House.  All solid choices.  There is so much more too - or if you are a person who just wants to go and people watch, that can be fun - and interesting too.

NEW SPECIALTY DRINKS

If you are into trying some new specialty drinks, the State Fair is the place to do that as well.  These specialty drinks for 2025 are all over at different vendors throughout the fairgrounds.  There are 70 new specialty sips.  Here are a few of them and where they are located.

As stated above, there are 70 new drinks.  You probably aren't going to be able to try them all - but one of the things that I think is a great idea is to go with a group, everyone gets a different drink.  Then everyone grab a straw so you can try everyone's drinks.  That way you can try several without drinking ALL of them!

If you want to know where all of them are on the fairgrounds, just download the map with the locations marked and taste away!  They also have quite a few NA drinks to choose from.

The Minnesota State Fair runs August 21st through Labor Day, September 1st.
