National Weather Service Issues Freeze Warning

The National Weather Service in the Twin Cities has issued a freeze warning for parts of central Minnesota Friday night into Saturday morning.

The freeze warning goes into effect at 11 p.m. Friday night until 9 a.m. Saturday morning for Stearns, Benton, Douglas, Mille Lacs, Kanabec, Todd and Morrison Counties.

The freeze could damage or kill unprotected plants and other vegetation as temperatures will drop as low as 25 degrees tonight.
