I received a text message from my dad in Illinois the other day with a series of photos. "A sad COVID story," was all he said. After reviewing the eight photos, however, I quickly understood that no further context was needed. The photos do tell a "sad" (I'm being facetious with that word) COVID shopping story, which I will now recount for you.
