It's fair season and that means weird food! Besides the obvious corn dogs, pronto pups and cheese curds, there are loads of other foods to eat and often times that means things you probably wouldn't eat on a daily basis. The California State Fair featured a fried maggot sandwich, the Texas State Fair offered deep fried Kool-Aid, and of course the Minnesota State Fair is famous for their odd fair fare. There's Big Fat Bacon (fried bacon caramelized with maple syrup and served on a stick with dipping sauces), deep fried candy bars (your favorite candy bars batter dipped, deep fried and served with powdered sugar on a stick), deep fried twinkies, fried green tomatoes, lefse, etc. What's your favorite fair food?

A new study by the University of Pennsylvania shows that what makes you happy depends on your age. For the younger set, hope for the future and their excitement levels are what makes them happy and for those 40 and over, sitting on the couch and being quiet is what gives them happiness. What makes you happy?
