Newborn farm babies are so cute, but I don't think this farmer in China was ready for what he was about to see. A sheep herder in China noticed a ewe licking her newborn lamb in the field. Well, when the farmer went to inspect the new arrival and imagine his surprise when he saw a creature with wool like a lamb, but the nose, mouth, eyes, paws, and tail were distinctly dog-like. It even plays like a puppy. The owner says he has never seen anything quite like it. Veterinarians say it's impossible for a sheep to give birth to a dog and it's probably just an abnormal lamb. All signs are pointing to a complete shutdown of all non essential government services tomorrow if congress and the president can't agree on a budget deal. So, how will this affect you?

1. No Tax Refund - If you're mailing a return and not using e-file, your refund could be delayed. (Does that just sound like a scare tactic to get us to e-file?) Also, if you have tax questions, you're screwed because the IRS will have to stop answering their "hotline".

2. Medicare - If you're applying for Medicare, good luck. New applications will not be accepted.

3. Police - Law enforcement is an essential part of government, but, the last shutdown in 1995 saw significant cuts in processes like DNA testing and non violent crime investigation. In short, if you have your house broken into or you're killed, no one will be able to help.

4. Parks and Museums - National parks will close immediately, so if you have a trip planned in the near future to, say, Yellowstone, you're going have to go somewhere else because the gates will be closed. Also, forget going to museums that run on federal dollars as well.

5. Passports - If you're applying for a passport for the European summer vacation, or maybe going fishing in Canada, forget it. Passports and Visa applications will not be processed.

6. Space, the Final Frontier - No more NASA. If you were taking the kids to the Kennedy Space Station or Cape Canaveral to see a shuttle liftoff, you're going to have wait. No space missions will be flying until further notice.
