Morning Mix Show Notes 3/28

Big Wednesday showed up today even though it's Monday. More than half of us are now doing this, and the greatest freak out ever.

Last night on Celebrity Apprentice, the task was to create, shoot, edit and present a 30 second ad for ACN, which is a direct sales communications company.  Team Backbone, led by rapper Lil' Jon,  decided to think outside the box and use humor in their commercial, showing grandparents opening gifts on Christmas, which included a new ACN video phone. While shooting the commercial, Gary wasn't wearing anything under his bathrobe and had a slight, ahem, wardrobe malfunction and introduced everyone to...um..."Big Wednesday", if ya know what I'm sayin'. Dionne Warwick was sent packing. Next week, see what happens when Meat Loaf unloads on Gary Busey.

A new study by Edison Research shows that more than half of us are now using Facebook. The poll asked Americans over the age of 12 if they had a profile on the social networking site and 51% of respondents said yes.  That number is up from 8% just three years ago.  If you have a Facebook profile, may we suggest you head on over to the Mix 94.9 Facebook page and click our "like" button?

When our children step out of line, parents let them know that there are consequences for their actions. This kid swore in front of his Mom and Dad, and they decided to get him where it hurts: They took away the Internet.
