Montevideo Business Donates Fish House to Help Fight Coronavirus
Minnesota Nice is alive and well and more on brand than ever, because only in our state is a fish house a valuable tool in fighting a pandemic.
Ice Castle Fish Houses of Montevideo is lending an fish house to help CCM Health hospital fight COVID-19. This ice house will be used as a drive-thru style testing center for potential virus patients.
This isn't the first Ice Castle the owner of Ice Castle Fish Houses Montivideo has donated. He has also given one to St. Jude's Children's Hospital in the past. In a statement to WCCO he said:
Montevideo community made the company what it is today, and this was the company’s way of giving back.
Ice fishing houses: not just for hanging out on frozen lakes. Neighbors helping out where they can, that's what it's all about right now.
