Well that was electrifying!

Anthony Hillukka had just gotten back from the gym when he noticed a nearby transformer (the power pole kind, not the robot car kind) sparking.

He pulled out his phone and began filming just in time to watch it explode with a loud bang into the snowy air.

According to Bring Me the News, the exploding transformer did lead to a power outage for some residents of Crookston, MN Saturday afternoon. Crookston is in Northern Minnesota just 25 miles South East of Grand Forks.
