On Thursday, Ben Jones of Marshall, MN posted a moving video to Twitter of his younger brother Jonathan seeing color for the first time.

"My little brother is severely colorblind and so is his principle at school," Jones shared on Twitter. "While they were learning about colorblindness in class, his principle brought in some glasses that let him see color for the first time, and he was very emotional."

In the video, Jonathan -- a student at Lakeview Elementary School in Cottonwood, according to Bring Me the News -- is seen sitting at a desk when his principal approaches and gives him a pair of glasses. He giggles nervously as he puts them on and looks around the room.

"So what are you thinking?" his principal asks. Jonathan just gives a thumbs up before taking the glasses off to wipe tears from his eyes.

"My mom started up a go fund me to get my brother his own pair so he can start seeing the world in color," Ben followed up on Twitter. "Any excess funds will go to the Enchroma Foundation who provide these glasses to those in need."

The goal was $350; as of late Friday morning, donations have raised $1,450.
