Mix 94.9 Teacher of the Week: Marie Zeilenga Of Mississippi Heights Elementary

Marie Zeilenga is a teacher at Mississippi Heights Elementary School in Sauk Rapids. She was nominated to be Mix 94.9's Teacher of the Week by the parent of one of her students, Constance Kelly. Kelly had this to say about her daughter's teacher;

My daughter struggles with severe social anxiety. Marie was so understanding and compassionate while my daughter was in her class last year. She is one of the few people who has been able to calm my daughter down and help her through her anxiety attacks. She went above and beyond every day to make sure my daughter felt safe, understood, welcome, and loved. She will always have a special place in the heart of our family. Every life she touches is blessed.
