Max and Timeflies will perform at SCSU's Spring 2019 concert.

Mix 94.9 artist MAX has been announced as the headliner of Saint Cloud State University's upcoming Spring 2019 concert.

MAX -- full name Maxwell Schneider -- is a NYC-born singer, songwriter, dancer and model. His breakthrough hit "Lights Down Low" has earned half a billion streams globally as well as Platinum status in the US and Canada, Gold status in Holland and Australia, #7 at Top 40 Radio and #1 on the Billboard Adult Pop Radio airplay chart. The pair -- lyricist Cal Shapiro and producer Rob Resnick -- have been performing together as TimeFlies since 2010, though they were collaborating together as early as college in 2007.

Together, the duo amassed a loyal following with their own original songs and covers on Youtube. They've released three albums and two EP's; their debut album Scotch Tape reached #8 on the overall iTunes chart and #2 on iTunes Pop Chart within 24 hours. Their first EP One Night reached #2 on the overall iTunes chart, #1 on iTunes Pop Chart and #29 on Billboard 200.

The concert -- hosted by SCSU's University Program Board -- will be held Friday, April 26 at Atwood Memorial Center.

Tickets are $15 for students, $30 to the public and can be purchased here.
