Which Valentine's candy conversation heart do you like best?

With Valentine's Day behind us, it's time to share the results of (another) very unofficial survey of our listeners: Which conversation heart candy do you grab first?

What makes things interesting is the variety of factors that play into answers, such as color and flavor. The most popular heart with listeners was the white heart. "Tastes like candy cigarettes 😄," commented one listener, which is fantastically true. Yellow was the second most popular, followed by a tie amongst Pink, Orange and Green, with just as many people saying they all taste the same or preferring none at all.

While white hearts may have been the favorite with Central Minnesotans this year, that doesn't mean candy hearts (also known as Sweethearts) were the top Valentine's Day candy. In fact, according to Candystore.com, they were only the third most popular V-day sweets behind chocolate (#1) and M&M's (#2)!

Anyways, that's what we found out this year regarding candy conversation hearts in Central Minnesota. With St. Patrick's Day on the way, we're already thinking about our next (unofficial) survey: do you prefer your beer green or natural?
