Minnesota State Fair’s Discounts & Bargain Days
The Great Minnesota Get Together kicks off Thursday through Labor Day. You can buy regular admission tickets from the convince of your own home and print them off to avoid waiting in line. Plus, if you buy them ahead of time (before the fair starts...you can get them for $11). If you have a smart phone, you can also purchase them right from your device and have them scanned at the gate. The fair is open from 6 a.m. to midnight each day. However, the fair closes at 10 p.m. on Labor Day.
Regular admission is $14 for adults ages 13 to 64, $12 for seniors ages 65 and older, $12 for kids ages five to 12, and free for children five and under.

Thursday, August 23 is Thrifty Thursday! You can save a few bucks on your ticket prices. Admission is $12 for adults ages 13 to 64, kids five to 12 are $9. Regular rates still apply for seniors. Kids five and under are free.
Monday, August 27th is Senior and Kids Day! Senior and kids tickets both cost $9. Regular rates apply for adult admission.
Tuesday, August 28th is Military Appreciation Day! Tickets are $9 for adults, seniors and kids of active military members. You must be able to present a valid documentation of military service to receive the discount.
Wednesday, August 29 is Read And Ride Day! Discounts are available for people who present a valid library card at the gate. Only one discount applies per library card. Adults admission is $12, seniors are $9, kid tickets cost $9 and children under five are free.
Thursday, August 30 is Senior Day! All senior tickets are just $9.
Monday, September 3 is Kids Day! All kid admission is just $9, and kids five and under are free!
The ticket booth is open from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m. each day of the fair. The ticket booth closes at 9 p.m. on Labor Day.
