If you're a woman living in Minnesota, you're in good company. WalletHub just named Minnesota the 'Best State For Women' in a new study.

The website looked at 24 key indicators of living standards for women ranging from median earnings for female employees to preventative health care for women.

Their data was collected in part from the U.S. Census Bureau, Bureau of Labor Statistics, Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Center for Educational Statistics, Federal Bureau of Investigation and other sources.

Minnesota ranked number one overall. The land of 10,000 lakes also received the highest possible ranking in the area of 'Women's Economic & Social Well-Being' and third overall in the 'health and safety' category.

Minnesota was ahead of second place Massachusetts, third place North Dakota and 4th place Washington D.C.

Are we really that surprised that Minnesota is a great place for women? I mean, Minnesota is the best state in the country...but, I must admit, I am a little biased.
